In 2014 friends Simon Whicker, Harvey Jenkinson (CEO) & Michael Harrison (COO) opened their first Gravity trampoline park in Yorkshire. They shared a vision of providing safe and exciting family fun on a mass scale.
Fast forward to 2021 and there are now 2 different concepts that Gravity offers, the Primary offering – which is Trampoline Parks, and ‘Supersites’, which are large-scale fun entertainment venues.
Gravity Trampoline Parks is based around a solid business model of providing a unique family-friendly experience with state-of-the art equipment. Each park delivers the best leisure experience possible with safety as a top priority. All Gravity trampoline parks offer supporting activities to keep children and adults entertained for a maximum period. These include, but aren’t limited to; inflatables, ninja-run, climbing walls, aerial adventure, FEC and cafes. These sites are approx. 30,000 sqft.
Gravity supersites are first-class big-box entertainment venues. These sites house multiple activities for all ages, across multiple floors - including multi-level E-karting, spark-technology bowling lanes, electric darts, VR, gaming, FEC, urban golf and much more. All supported by a range of excellent F&B offerings. These sites are c.80,000 sqft.
Where a Gravity sets itself apart is the great locations and financial contributions, we can secure by working with our network of the world's largest landlords. We can provide franchise partner's territories that will thrive by following our business model.
After establishing Gravity as a market leader in the UK, the natural progression was to explore markets in Europe and the rest of the world.
We have a 15-unit master franchise deal in Saudi Arabia, with one trampoline park open in Khobar and another site under construction. We have one site open in Leizpig, east Germany, and are securing another site in Berlin. We are also in negotiations with several other sites globally.
Gravity has built the brand, infrastructure and has the financing and commitment to become the global market leader in leisure. We are always interested in the exploration of expansion in markets globally. If you want to learn more about becoming a Gravity franchise partner, get in contact today.
The team also use a software which carries out regular risk and health and safety audits on each site. This information is then fed back to the franchisees and general managers.
Another software is used to encourage visitors to complete customer satisfaction surveys and this information is logged on record. Any complaints go to the head of the centralised Gravity call centre to deal with, rectify and feedback to the relevant site.
Gravity help to cover all aspects of training and compliance in all parks, so that the franchisee and their team can do what they do best – ensuring the parks are busy, and people are having FUN.
