Safety First

Trampolines are fun and we want you to enjoy your visits to our parks, but we want you to stay safe at all times, but accidents can happen. Gravity works closely with industry and regulatory organisations to provide you with a safe place to have fun with your friends, family or colleagues, but you must help yourself by understanding and following all of our safety rules, which includes following the instructions of our park marshals at all times.

AGE RESTRICTIONS

Under 18 months – not allowed on any Activity Areas

18 months but under 5 years – must be accompanied by an adult at all times; one adult can accompany up to two children

5 years but under 13 years – allowed unaccompanied, but must be supervised

13 years but under 18 years – allowed unaccompanied and unsupervised

Minimum age for Urban Climb is 4yrs. Under 13yrs to be supervised by an adult

Fitness Class attendees must be over 14 years

You must not participate in any Park events if you are Pregnant.

Safety Guidelines

  • Familiarise yourself with our safety rules below and make sure you share them with anyone else who's coming with you, particularly any children you are responsible for. If you don't fully understand the rules either ask us when you arrive, or CONTACT US before hand for clarification.
  • Make sure each adult participant has a signed, in-date safety waiver every visit and that waivers include all participating children - the waiver contains a copy of the safety rules. MORE ABOUT WAIVERS
  • ALL participants need to wear GRAVITY safety socks, which you can buy online or when you arrive. Make sure your socks are the correct size as if they are too loose they will not give you as much grip. If you have socks already, make sure they are in good condition.
  • EVERY time you visit us, you'll be shown a safety video to remind you of the safety rules, so make sure your party arrives at least 20 minutes before your time slot to check in and watch the video - if you turn up late it will be your jump time you'll be missing while you watch the video!
  • Know your physical capabilities and those of your group and ALWAYS stay within them.
  • Abide by the rules and follow our park monitor's instructions - they are there to help and are trained to spot situations that cause accidents;. If you don't follow their instructions you are increasing your risk of injury and remember that at all times you are responsible for how you use our facilities.
  • Expand your trampoline skills gradually and don't follow others in your group who may be fitter or more experienced.

Safety Rules

BEFORE YOU JUMP:
DO NOT Jump if you have health limitations or injuries, are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or are pregnant.
ALWAYS empty your pockets before jumping.
NO sharp objects, jewelry, or unauthorized devices (cameras, phones, etc.) allowed on the court.

WHILE YOU JUMP:
ALWAYS be aware of those around you.
It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to avoid others.
ALWAYS bounce in the centre of the trampoline.
ALWAYS jump and land on two feet.
DO NOT land on head or neck.
DO NOT affect another jumper’s bounce in anyway.
NO double flips. NO forward moving back flips (”gainers”).
ALWAYS remain in control - walk on and off the court.
ALWAYS follow the Court Monitor’s directions.
DO NOT jump if a Court Monitor is not present.
DO NOT sit or lie down on the court.
NO rough play or running.
NO climbing or hanging on the wall pads or nets.
